The YourHealthNS App: Access Your Health Records Online

YourHealthNS is a free app and website provided by the Province of Nova Scotia that gives patients secure access to their personal health information. You can view your records anytime, share them with a provider, and book certain health services — all from your phone or computer.

What You Can Access:

  • Medications: View your current and past prescriptions (approximately 10 years of history). Available 7 days after being prescribed.
  • Lab Test Results: Includes blood, urine, and general lab tests, with normal ranges provided. Results are visible 7 days after your healthcare provider receives them.
  • Diagnostic Imaging Results: Access summaries of X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds. Available 14 days after your provider receives them.
  • Hospital Visits and Stays: Information from hospital and clinic visits (approximately 10 years of history), available 7 days after the visit.
  • Immunization Records: Includes COVID-19 vaccines, flu shots, and routine vaccinations (last 10 years). Available 7 days after being recorded.
  • Patient Summary: You can now generate a secure summary of your medical history to share with any healthcare provider. Share it by email, text, or QR code. Summaries expire after 24 hours and can be recalled at any time.
  • Appointment Reminders: Registered users can view upcoming appointments in the app and receive push notification reminders.
